My Grandma had freckles, all over. They are my most precious possession. They are what makes me stand out in a crowd (well, besides my height of course). They’re my trademark, if you will.
Alright, so I’m not all freckles… I’m also writer, mother, wife (a good one? I’m not sure… I try though), passionate baker of delicious bread, homeschooler by heart, volunteer, sister, daughter, best friend, emotional recycling bin, chauffeur, in-the-shower-singer, housewife (bad one… bad bad bad housewife), reader, hiker, traveler, searcher, atheist (ouch… yes, I said it, didn’t I?), nature lover, life admirer, Oregon lover, photographer, and lust but not least full of myself.
I’m in my thirties and happen to believe it’s my best decade yet. But then, what do I know about life. Maybe the forties are much better? I will find out. Until then I’ll enjoy who I am and where I’m going.

A homeschooler at heart, and how about practice? Are you living the life? Planning to? Thinking about it? Wishing you could?
Suze, we started homeschooling in December of 05 with my then preschool age daughter. I would call us somewhat eclectic with a touch of “The Well Trained Mind”.
My daughter is now 7 and loving it, and my 5 year old son wants to do everything she does.
So, yes, we are living the life… and loving it.
Cool. I’ve added you to the homeschool blogroll.
And do you live in Oregon? Oh, I’m in love with Oregon from afar and my husband fears that I am over-romanticizing it. Based on what I want my forties to be like, I don’t think I am. I might be overlooking weather that I normally pooh-pooh because I live in the tropics now, but I made it through 20 New England winters and the worst ice storm in Missisippi before I ever got to Houston, so I bet I could stand it if it’s the natural paradise and free-thinking place it seems to be from the internet and one persons testimony.
Tell me it’s true!!! =D
